FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What's the best piece of advice for finding your dream dress?
Keep an open mind and enjoy the experience! Your stylist is there to guide you, and your excitement and feedback help them understand your vision and find the gown that truly reflects you. Share your thoughts throughout your appointment — every comment helps narrow down what feels right.
Surround yourself with the people whose opinions mean the most to you, whether that’s close friends or family members who know and support your style.
And remember, there’s no rule that says you can’t find your dream dress at the very first store you visit — many brides do! When a gown makes you feel beautiful, confident, and completely yourself, trust that feeling. Sometimes, “the one” appears when you least expect it.

Are appointments required?
Yes, appointments are required for all bridal consultations, except during designated sale events. When you schedule your appointment, you’ll receive detailed information and reminders to ensure a seamless experience.
We’ve designed our process to provide each bride with a private, personalized 90-minute session — meaning the boutique is exclusively yours during your visit. This intimate setting allows you and your guests to enjoy the experience without interruptions. Your dedicated stylist will guide you through every step, assisting with gown selections, fittings, and accessories to help you find the dress of your dreams.

Who should I bring?
It's undeniably enjoyable to invite your entire entourage of family, friends, and bridesmaids to join the dress shopping extravaganza, but beware that an excess of opinions can leave a bride feeling perplexed. Coordinate a time to visit the boutique only when your most significant individuals will be present. Often, brides discover their dream gown during unanticipated moments. Reproducing the initial magic of slipping into your perfect dress can be challenging once you've tried it without your VIPS present.

What should I bring to my appointment?
An open-mind, and for the sake of comfort and hygiene, we suggest choosing undergarments that match your skin tone. Please avoid wearing thongs, to maintain hygiene of our gowns and for both our comfort as a Stylist will be assisting you into each gown. To facilitate a more efficient process, it's a good idea to peruse our online gallery organized by size and capture any images that appeal to you. While it's perfectly fine to begin your search without specific preferences, contacting us with detailed photos and descriptions beforehand can help ensure that we are prepared to meet your particular needs, thereby making the most of your time during the appointment.

Are children allowed at my appointment?
Yes! We understand that you or one of your guests may need to bring a child along. Children are welcome in our store, and for your convenience, we also provide a changing table in the restroom.

When should I reach out to book my appointment?
Our weekends and evenings—especially Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays—are our most popular times and tend to fill up quickly. We recommend reaching out about a month or two in advance to secure your preferred day and time. Weekday appointments (Tuesday through Thursday) typically offer more flexibility, though our latest available time at 5:30 p.m. is also in high demand and books up fast. Planning ahead gives you the best chance to find the perfect time for your bridal appointment!

Do I need to pay a booking fee for an appointment?
Only weekend appointments (Saturdays and Sundays) require a $50 booking fee. This fee secures your private, 90-minute appointment where you and your guests have exclusive access to the entire store and the dedicated support of a stylist. The fee is non-refundable but will be applied as a credit toward your dress purchase if you buy on the day of your appointment. You can reschedule once with at least 14 days’ notice without losing your fee.
There is no booking fee for weekday appointments (Monday–Friday). We kindly ask that you notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule a weekday appointment.
If you cancel a non-weekend appointment less than 48 hours before your scheduled time, a $50 booking fee will be required to make a second appointment.

When should I start my wedding dress shopping journey?
We recommend starting your dress search about 9–12 months before your wedding. This allows enough time for ordering (which can take up to 6 months) and alterations (typically another 2–3 months).

If your wedding is coming up quickly, don’t worry—we have over 500 in-stock dresses in sizes 2–30 that are ready to take home the same day.

Can I start shopping earlier than that?
We generally don’t recommend shopping more than a year before your wedding. Styles can change, your preferences may evolve, and the dress you fall in love with early on might not be available when you’re ready to buy. It’s best to start your search when you feel ready to make a purchase. Many brides find “the one” at their first appointment, and since gowns can be discontinued or sold off the rack, waiting too long or starting too early can lead to second-guessing. For the best experience, shop when you’re ready to say “yes!”
What is the price range of your wedding dresses?
All of our wedding dresses are priced at $1,000 or less. We carry over 500 gowns in sizes 2–30, offering a wide selection for every bride.
Dresses can be purchased off the rack or special ordered. Please note that orders may include additional shipping fees or charges for custom changes.
Basic alterations are a separate cost and typically range from $300–$500.

What sizes are available to try on during my appointment?
We carry over 500 wedding dresses in store, ranging from sizes 2–30, so every bride has a wide variety of styles to explore and try on. At the start of each appointment, we’ll take your measurements and guide you toward dresses that are the best fit for your size range to ensure a great experience in the fitting room.
We recommend trying on dresses within two sizes of your current measurements. Even if a dress is altered or ordered in your size, trying on something too far from your true size can affect the placement of key details like straps, seams, and cups—changing how the dress looks and feels compared to the one you fell in love with.
We’re proud to offer the largest selection of plus-size bridal gowns in Northern Wisconsin, with over 300 sample dresses in size 16 and up.
Do you buy or consign wedding dresses?
We don’t purchase or consign dresses. All of our gowns are brand new, sourced directly from trusted designers, ensuring every bride gets a dress that’s truly hers from the start.

Can I buy a dress off the rack?
Yes! All dresses on our sales floor are available to buy off the rack and take home the same day. Many styles can also be special ordered in different sizes or colors, though these may take up to six months to arrive. Please note that pricing and availability can change, and custom orders may include additional fees.

Do you offer in-house alterations?
No, we don’t have a seamstress on site. However, we’re happy to provide you with a list of trusted local seamstresses we regularly recommend.

Do you carry mothers/bridesmaids/mini bride/high school dance dresses?
We do not. Our boutique has been exclusively focused on brides since 2017. We’ve found that dedicating our space and attention solely to bridal gowns allows each bride to enjoy an experience that’s completely centered around her — without distractions. This focus ensures that every appointment is all about celebrating the bride and finding her perfect dress.
Can I bring refreshments?
While it may look glamorous on TV, we actually don't serve champagne or allow alcohol in the boutique. It would require a liquor license, and more importantly, we want to keep the beautiful gowns safe from any accidental spills.
