WHAT'S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE FOR FINDING YOUR PERFECT DRESS?
Be open-minded and very importantly know your Stylist feeds off you and your guests’ enthusiasm and mood. Communication and conversation while trying on will help your Stylist gather the intel needed to pull the perfect dress for you (if you haven’t already.) Bring your closest friends or family members whose opinions matter most to you.

Keep in mind that it is okay and very common to find your gorgeous dress at your first boutique (and sometimes it's even the first dress you try on!). If you love a dress that makes you feel beautiful and confident, it's the one! There's no need to second guess yourself wondering if there's something else out there.

ARE APPOINTMENTS REQUIRED? 

Yes, appointments are required (except special sale events). Once an appointment is booked detailed information and confirmation reminders as well as requests to confirm are sent. Many bridal parties have commented how they preferred their private 90 minute appointment so walk-ins are not allowed. A private appointment means the entire boutique is free from other brides and their guests judging eyes. A stylist works one on one helping you into each gown, zipping, buttoning, adjusting, and adding accessories.

WHO SHOULD I BRING?
Less is more.  We know that it’s so fun to bring all of your family, friends and bridesmaids dress shopping with you, but sometimes too many opinions can confuse a bride. Schedule an appointment only when you are sure you will have all your VIP guests with you. A lot of brides find their dress when they least expect to, and it’s hard to recreate that special moment when you put your dress on for the first time.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT? 

An open mind and skin tone undergarments (for your comfort and that of the Stylist: highly recommend no thongs as a Stylist will be helping you into each gown). It can also be helpful to your stylist by looking through our website photos by size and taking screenshots. If you are looking for something very specific please reach out with photos and description prior to booking the appointment as to not waste your valuable time, but it's more than ok if you are starting from a completely blank slate.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT MY APPOINTMENT? 

Yes. We understand you or a VIP guest may need to bring a child/children for many reasons. We even offer a changing table in the restroom.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY APPOINTMENT? 

Saturday & Sunday appointments book quickly, so call with a few weeks to months notice if you would like a weekend appointment. Weekends can book 6-8 weeks in advance. Weeknight appointments (5:15 p.m.) also book quickly, usually about 2 weeks in advance. We can occasionally accommodate same-day appointment requests during the week, and we also have a waitlist for Saturdays and Sundays!

WHEN SHOULD I SHOP AND ORDER MY DRESS?

We recommend starting to shop 9-12 months in advance of your wedding date. Dresses take anywhere from 3 to 6 months after order date to arrive then the alterations take around 3 months. However, if you are a bride with less than 9 months before your wedding, any of the 400-600 dresses in stock may be purchased off rack and taken home same day.

CAN I SHOP EARLIER THAN THAT? 

We recommend waiting until you are ready to purchase a dress to start shopping. You will most likely fall in love with something during your appointment, and dresses are often discontinued or sold off the rack. Because of that, it can be counterproductive to shop, love something and then wait a few months to buy it.

 

WHAT IS THE PRICE POINT OF YOUR WEDDING DRESSES?

Approximately 300 off the rack wedding dresses under $800. Approximately an additional 200 order-able wedding dresses. Varying from month to month there are anywhere between 400-500 in stock wedding dresses. You will get the same no-judgement service regardless of your budget. All brides deserve to feel beautiful on their big day.

WHAT SIZES ARE AVAILABLE FOR TRYING ON DURING MY APPOINTMENT? 

We currently have the largest selection of plus size dresses in Northern Wisconsin with 300 samples in size 16+ for our brides to try on. Dresses in store range from size 2-28 (select 30-34). The website shows a lot of dress options by size, but not all.

 

DO YOU BUY OR CONSIGN WORN OR UNWORN WEDDING DRESSES? 

No, sorry. We only buy direct from reputable wedding dress designers/manufacturers/stores. Our dresses have NOT been previously owned or worn by any other bride.

CAN I BUY OFF RACK? 

Every dress on the sales floor can be purchased off rack. Find the dress you love off the rack, you get to take home same day! No waiting for months to be ordered. Many can also be ordered in other sizes and colors, but may take up to 6 months to arrive. (Prices are subject to change, may raise or lower at any time. Special/custom order dresses may incur additional fees. Availability may change quickly.)

DO YOU HAVE A SEAMSTRESS ON SITE? 

We do not have an in-house seamstress because we do not want to require our brides to come to our location for alterations. We have brides who travel from all over the state to shop with us, so we want you to be able to work with whoever you want. We do, however, have a list of seamstresses in our area who have been partnering with us.

DO YOU CARRY MOTHERS/BRIDESMAIDS/MINI BRIDE/HIGH SCHOOL DANCE DRESSES? 

Sorry, no. We have been bride only since late 2017. What I noticed with shoppes that carry mothers and bridesmaids dresses is that the guests can lose focus on the bride due to shopping for themselves.

 

CAN I BRING REFRESHMENTS? 

We do not allow any outside food or alcohol in the boutique. There are liability issues involved with allowing alcohol consumption in commercial businesses that are not liquor licensed Class A/B/or C with the city and state. ​

HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE IDEA TO OPEN A BRIDAL SHOPPE?

After spending a small fortune on my own wedding dress, I realized as much as I loved my dress the price was crazy. Though your perfect day will forever be imprinted in your memories, the huge cost and regret of the expensive dress (that will be boxed and tucked away shortly after) should not…spend the savings on the honeymoon!
